Housekeeping

Our clean, comfortable cabins are equipped with a private 3 piece bath, electric heat and indoor seating. Inside the cabins you will find a fridge, oven, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, microwave, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, toilet paper, kitchen towels, and liquid detergent. All mattresses have a mattress cover and bottom sheet on them. Please bring your own pillows and top linens (blankets/sleeping bag/comforter). All cabins have a picnic table, charcoal BBQ and fire pit (some shared) outside.

Meal Plan

Experience All-Inclusive Comfort on the French River

Our Meal Plan Package includes cabin accommodation, 16′ Legend fishing boat with two swivel seats, all gas and all live bait, Dinner on arrival day, 3 Meals on full days, Breakfast on departure day, ice for drinks in your accommodation and for your coolers, and firewood.

Breakfast and Lunch are made to order and “to go”. Dinner is served in the Lodge Dining Room and is usually one set item (unless someone has an allergy or dislike). Guests choose a time between 5 pm and 7 pm. Our typical offerings include pickerel dinner, steak dinner, chicken parm and brisket. All dinners come with an appetizer (soup or salad), dinner roll, non-alcoholic drinks and dessert. We do not have a liquor licence so guests are more than welcome to bring in their own alcoholic beverages if they wish.

Our Meal Plan Rates are based on a minimum of 2 guests per cabin/bedroom with a minimum stay of 3 nights.

Get hooked on Wolseley Lodge and fish the French River!

Are you ready to catch Pike, Musky and/or Bass? Or do some Ontario Walleye fishing? How about Crappie, Catfish or Perch? We offer outstanding Spring, Summer and Fall Fishing Vacations and provide Guests with a map showing hot spots, rocks and drop off locations. Wolseley Lodge is located at the mouth of the Wolseley River which is one of the major spawning grounds for Walleye, Northern Pike and Musky.

Our 16′ extra wide Legend fishing boats have electric start 25HP motors, live wells, and power trim & tilt. All boats are equipped with an emergency kit, oars and one life jacket per person. Minnows and leeches are supplied when available but night crawlers are always stocked.

Our Fishing Package Rates are based on a minimum of 2 guests per cabin/bedroom with a minimum stay of 3 nights.

SPRING & FALL MID-WEEK FISHING PACKAGE “GET 4^th NIGHT FREE SPECIAL”: Runs from May 11th to June 13th and from September 14th to October 10th for Sunday or Monday arrivals. Pay for 3 nights and get the 4^th night free (Fishing Package only).
