Marina and Boats
Imagine yourself heading out into beautiful Wolseley Bay in one of our boats with a shoreline map of the French River showing nearby fishing hot spots. Our rental boats are perfect for fishermen, photographers and sightseers.
Wolseley Lodge has two large dock systems. One set of docks is for our Seasonal Guests and Lodge Guests that do not require hydro at their dock slips. The other set has 20 dock slips with hydro which has easy access to charge your boat batteries and equipment. This dock system is attached to the Boat House. We have designated trailer parking on site when you stay or pay to dock here.
If you would like to use our docks to load your personal boats after using the public boat launch please come to the main Lodge building where you can pay a loading fee of $5 in and $5 out. Parking is free on the “highway” or you can pay to park on our protected property for $8 per day per vehicle or $16 per day per vehicle and trailer (tax included).
16ft PONTOON (3 available)
This is a well equipped fishing pontoon for small groups. They are equipped with a 25HP Yamaha 4 stroke motor with power trim, live well, a Humminbird HELIX5 GPS Fish Finder Gen2, plus 3 swivel seats and a bench at the back. Enjoy the French River on a small cruising platform with easy access for people who like it smaller but still stable. Bimini tops are available for relief from sun, wind and wet weather.
You can walk right from our dock onto the Pontoon with no steps or climbing into a rocking boat. The front opening is 31” wide for easy access for a wheel chair.
Our 16’ X 6’ Pontoons are built with 23” diameter pontoons (as found on bigger pontoon boats) for extra safety and great maneuverability. They are the perfect boat for small groups with plenty of space and comfort.
The maximum capacity for these boats is 5 persons or 750 lbs.
16ft LEGEND BOATS
(12 available from 2004)
Eleven of our 16’ Legend fishing boats are equipped with a 25HP 4 stroke Yamaha motors (electric start, electric/hydraulic power trim and tilt), live wells and swivel seats. One does not have power trim or swivel seats. They all have plywood platforms facilitating a flat bottom. Depth finders and trolling motors are available as add ons to these boats at an additional cost.

22 ft PONTOON (one)
Our 22’ Pontoon has a 50HP Yamaha electric-start motor, power trim, chairs, corner bench, bimini top, ladder, live well and a Hummingbird HELIX 5 GPS Fish Finder. Treat yourself to a great fishing adventure on the French River with 4 corner swivel seats and lower railing for relaxed fishing. This pontoon is ideal for groups of 6 to 10 persons. The maximum capacity for this boat is 12 persons or 1,880 lbs.
24 ft PONTOON (one)
Our 24’ Pontoon has a 50HP Yamaha electric-start motor, power trim, chairs, rear side bench, bimini top, ladder and a Hummingbird HELIX 5 GPS Fish Finder. Treat yourself to a relaxing day on the French River with 2 front swivel seats and a lower railing for relaxed fishing. This pontoon is ideal for groups of 6 to 10 persons. The maximum capacity for this boat is 14 persons or 1,935 lbs.
Our spotless Fishing Cleaning Hut (with stainless steel countertop) is available to all Guests for fish cleaning and it is completely screened in. There is running water, plastic bags and freezer facilities for your CATCH OF THE DAY!
