James has been improving our Guests’ experience at Wolseley Lodge for more than 8 years! His passion since a young boy has always been in the great outdoors, more specifically for fishing. The thrill of reeling in a big fish, no matter the species, and never knowing what you’re going catch, got him hooked.

James grew up in Southern Ontario where the many lakes in the vicinity, including Lake Ontario, meant endless species to target. This never stopped him from traveling anywhere for the next big bite. Today he says he is living in paradise, just a short drive from the French River, in the town of Alban, with his wife and two beautiful daughters. Living so close to the French River has allowed him to study and learn the vast sections of the French over the years. His expertise ensures his time spent on the water is as productive as possible.
