The Wolseley Lodge, is located at the mouth of the Wolseley River one of the major spawning grounds for the Walleye, Northern Pike and Muskie at our part of the French River.
The Wolseley Lodge takes care of the serious fishing people. We offer nice clean cabins, a dining room (meals must be booked in advance) and the most modern fleet of fishing boats at the French River, all with electric start motors and live wells. We also provide you with updated shore line maps with all the hot spots you need to know.

Our clean comfortable cabins are equipped with private 3 pc bath, electric heat, Indoor seating. In the Cabins you will find refrigerators, ranges, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, pots, pans, utensils, kitchen towels, liquid detergent, please bring your your own pillows and linens (blankets etc.). Outside: picnic table, charcoal BBQ and fire pit (some shared).
Boats
The French River has a well deserved reputation for first class fishing since many decades. The French River is a series of island dotted lakes connected by rapids. More than 95% of the shore line is untouched and protected by the French River Provincial Parkland, Dokies Indian Reserve and Crown Land. Two rapids are coming down into, and 3 rapids are leaving our area which is a 25 km long part of the French River and the 5 km long Wolseley Bay.
Deposits: We require a non refundable deposit within 10 days to confirm your reservation. The deposit will 30% of the total booking value. We accept Interact e-transfer, MasterCard or Visa. The Credit Card has to be in the name of the person who is booking, or later on site from a group member present.
For boat rentals we require a security deposit from Credit Card or in cash of $750.00 for a boat, $1250.00 for a Pontoon. Minimum rental per boat rental or motel style room 1 day/night, all other as posted 2-3 nights. Housekeeping on Long Weekends and during Summer min 3 nights (daily summer bookings only at last minute) be prepared to settle your account for booking on arrival, in cash, Debit, MasterCard or Visa.
All persons/items booked will be charged.
