Walleye or Pickerel

Common Baits:

The Walleye can be found in the French River in and around Wolseley Bay. They prefer mainly cold, clear waters. They spawn in early spring in shallow water over gravel bottom and feed mainly on fish. Try at a depth of 5'-8' at dusk and dawn feeding times when trolling or casting, or deeper during warmer daylight hours when jigging.
